A Trillium in the Tri-cities

An incredible thing happened this spring. A trillium grew on our berm. It's hard to say how it got there. It didn't bloom last spring. Perhaps it was disturbed just enough to pop up. Or since we've removed so much of the Oregon grape that were sucking up nutrients, he finally got enough to bloom. However it happened it is amazing. And this is Tracy's favorite flower.

Three owners ago, a landscaper lived here. I've inherited some fabulous gardens!
